Ioanna Paraskevopoulou - hardcore echoes

hardcore echoes is an ongoing sonic and bodily research project initiated by the desire to "search for things where there is nothing." At its core are the hands as carriers of sensory memory, through which labor is approached as a practice of repetition, meditation, and feedback. The research draws from the material traces of manual practices: surfaces that wear down, are shaped and transformed, movements that are repeated and gestures that acquire rhythm, as well as from the notion of hardcore as a condition of extreme dedication. Within this framework, manipulations and techniques from different professional fields are transferred into the realm of sound, forming a process of translating action into acoustic form. This process unfolds through a musical live set. The live environment functions as an open laboratory where sound and body are tested in real time. The performance creates a framework for investigating the relationship between manual labor and sound production, challenging the boundaries between process and outcome.
Concept, Research & Texts: Ioanna Paraskevopoulou

Anastasia Brouzioti/ Alma libre co. - Pillars of the sky

Pillars of the Sky is an ongoing choreographic research project inspired by the myth of Atlas, as preserved in Ovid's writings. Through this mythological reference, Almalibre.co creates a field of inquiry around the relationship between body and memory, the weight of experience, and the possibility of transformation. The work focuses on the mutation caused by the past upon human existence, exploring how the body records experience and how this experience may be transformed. Through a movement language based on distortion, asymmetry, and the constant transition between stillness, flow, and eruption, the body is approached as a living archive carrying traces of memory while searching for new forms of existence.

Polena Kolia Petersen - LOITSUT at the end of the world

End. Repeat. Escape. Delete. No. One more attempt. Before you relapse back to business as usual once again. A true amnesiac millennial. Can the movement, the voice of one body reverse this game? If every movement is a step closer to the end, how do we move? A dance performance-ode to the generation of loneliness and vanity. An allegory for the choice to move as an opponent of a futureless present, a cry out to the collectives that we have lost.
Concept, research, choreography, performance: Polena Kolia Petersen
Music: Εvi Νakou, Orestis Atsalakis, George Dousos
Text & Video: Polena Kolia Petersen
The research & development of the work has been supported by E75 Art Bus Project - MUU Ry (FI), Kaltio Magazine (FI), Oulu 2026 European Capital of Culture, I. & R. Duncan Dance Center (GR), iP12 House (GR)
Alexandros Kyriazis - The Chicken & The Duck

The Chicken & The Duck is a contemporary dance duet exploring the internal conflict between identity and aspiration - what one is versus what one longs to become. Two performers embody different aspects of a single inner self. The audience initially perceives them as two separate characters. Only gradually does it become clear: they are not interacting with each other, but within the same psyche. The Chicken & The Duck is a piece about the internal struggle of a person that desperately tries to find their place in this world. Somebody that is looking for a place to belong, an identity. The work unfolds as a mute, physical dialogue. Through rhythm, repetition, and a series of increasingly desperate attempts to synchronize, the performers navigate a relationship that is at once comedic, awkward, and deeply human. Balancing humor with vulnerability, The Chicken & The Duck invites audiences to recognize the absurdity and poignancy of internal struggle-suggesting that identity may not be something to resolve, but something to continuously negotiate.
