Discover the Magic of Bioluminescence: A Christmas Glow Tour at the BioLumina Light Installation Festival in the Stavros Niarchos Park!

Under the title BioLumina, this year's Light Installation Festival of the SNFCC explores the profound relationship between nature, technology, and humans, transforming the Stavros Niarchos Park into an imaginative ecosystem of light and sound.

With works by internationally acclaimed artists, as well as Greek creators selected through an open call by the SNFCC, the festival invites visitors of all ages into a meeting space where art becomes a dialogue between humans and light.

Plants, animals, people, ideas, and emotions are interwoven into an expansive network of relationships-an experience that explores the power of connection and the synergy between nature and technology. Butterflies emerge in the Green Roofs, dandelions float inside the Dome, a luminous bird traces paths above the Great Lawn, a North Star reflects on the Water Jets, and a whale surfaces in the Mediterranean Garden.

The experience is complemented by a field of more than one hundred LED light columns, welcoming visitors as they enter the Stavros Niarchos Park through the diagonal path leading to the Great Lawn - an impressive installation by Eleni Maragaki and Giorgos Nikas, previously presented at the SNFCC in 2022 and 2024.

Stroll through the Stavros Niarchos Park among the Light Installations, enjoying your warm drink (Glühwein or hot chocolate) from the Vans on Tour next to the choreographed fountains, heading up to the Christmas 360° Pop-up Bar, and concluding at a beloved Christmas tradition for visitors of all ages: the Ice Rink on the Canal, where priority entry (skip the line) is available.
