Festival at the Park 2026 welcomes two of the most influential figures of contemporary Greek music for one of this summer's most anticipated musical encounters, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the Ai-Yiannis Detis Park Theatre. Set against the unique natural backdrop of the Paros Environmental & Cultural Park, Alkistis Protopsalti and Nikos Portokaloglou come together in a performance built on the essence of song, the power of interpretation and genuine communication with the audience.

Their collaboration brings together two artists who have left a profound mark on Greek music through decades of continuous artistic presence. Both have built enduring relationships with audiences through the authenticity of their performances, the consistent quality of their work and their ability to evolve while remaining true to their artistic identity. Their meeting on stage unites two distinct musical worlds that share common values: respect for the song itself, a commitment to meaningful communication and a deep love for live performance.

With her unmistakable voice and commanding stage presence, Alkistis Protopsalti joins forces with Nikos Portokaloglou, a songwriter and performer whose music has accompanied several generations of listeners. Rooted in simplicity, sincerity and outstanding musicianship, the performance creates a warm and powerful atmosphere where audiences can travel through stories, memories and emotions.

Together, Alkistis Protopsalti and Nikos Portokaloglou present a programme that honours their remarkable artistic journeys while opening a new chapter in their creative relationship. Joining them on stage is an exceptional ensemble of musicians under the artistic supervision and musical arrangements of Thomas Kontogeorgis.
