The second concert of the Meleagris Art Festival opens a window into the inner world of Johannes Brahms - a world where tension coexists with silence, passion with restraint, and formal rigor with profound human emotion. Three chamber music sonatas, composed at different stages of the composer's life, reveal three facets of the same creative personality: the youthful Brahms of dramatic impulse, the mature Brahms of inner conflict, and the late Brahms of serene acceptance. The dark dramaturgy of the Cello Sonata No. 1 in E minor, the deep poetic expression of the Clarinet Sonata No. 1, Op. 120, and the intensity of the Violin Sonata No. 3 form a musical narrative in which the instruments engage in dialogue, confrontation, and ultimately, convergence. Four distinguished soloists - Dimitris Kyranastasis (clarinet), Henryka Tronek (violin), Christoforos Mirosnikov (cello), and Nasos Grozas (piano) - come together on stage in an evening dedicated to chamber music as a space of dialogue, introspection, and refined artistic concentration.

This concert highlights Brahms as a master of chamber music,
through works that balance dramatic intensity with inward poetic depth.

Meleagris Farm will be open an hour before the beginning of the concert, in order to welcome those who wish to visit the premises earlier.

After the concert, MELEAGRIS CLASSIC production company will be offering snacks and wine made by the local winery EVINOS which are included in the ticket price.
