The French Ensemble M?tis is coming to Greece for the first time to present a unique concert titled The Two Sides of the Atlantic: Poetry and Colour in Music. Through this concert, the ensemble pays tribute to poetry, colour, and cultural diversity with a contemporary music programme. Bringing together composers and performers from Mediterranean and American countries, this concert promotes intercultural dialogue and explores the deep connections between music, language, and light. It is a concert that gives voice to new and poetic creations.
Ensemble Métis is one of the most important groups in Nice's contemporary music scene (France), dedicated to creating and promoting contemporary music and actively supporting the emergence of new composers. Borrowing its name from Metis, the Oceanid in Greek mythology, this ensemble brings together musicians from diverse cultural backgrounds, drawing inspiration from cultural pluralism. This enables it to maintain strong ties with Nice's cultural life and collaborate with world-class composers.
