Following its world premiere at Comédie de Genève (January 2026), the new work ner_una puta historia de AMOR, a performance about the end of love and its possible rebirth, debuts in Greece by the GNO Alternative Stage.
They wanted to talk about the collapse of the world, but what collapsed in their lives was love. And what if the world's collapse was connected to the collapse of love? Would we let ice melt and rivers dry up if we loved them?
Between Greece and Mexico, on the steep slope of a rock, male and female climbers perform a choreography of tenderness and the unexpected: they hold each other, climb up, fly, fall, catch each other, slide, kiss, and fall all over again...
Ner - a pun combining the Italian word for the colour black and the Greek word for water - seeks a way to bring love back to the centre of our concerns. This work is the fifth part of a chromatic pentalogy by Greek director Anna Lemonaki.
