Following the successful presentation of the triptychs Human Behaviour and Human Nature on the GNO Alternative Stage, the Greek National Opera Ballet returns to the Alternative Stage with a new contemporary dance triptych that brings once more the ensemble's dancers face to face with the special demands of smaller scale and modern dance forms, blending the musical sensuality of mature Romanticism with the rhythmic and timbral richness of today's musical creation.
In the new triptych titled Colours, Eva Georgitsopoulou's work W(h)oman to music by Sebastian Diakakis converses with Italian choreographer Diego Tortelli's work Hole in Space to music by Federico Bigonzetti and GNO Ballet director Konstantinos Rigos' Les nuits d'été to music by Hector Berlioz, composing a dynamic modern dance programme that arouses the senses - in red, green and yellow shades.
