If our life was a flower, a smell, a colour, what would it be like?

...Basil and mint, hyacinth and geranium, sea breeze, salt, childhood memories of playing in the yards of low houses, barefoot in the streets. Cool water under the feet, slippery pebbles, distant glances, warm hugs. The body –malleable dough- aroused by the need to share and the desire to communicate. Life, in its sharpest qualities, through loss, loneliness, fear of non-existence, the agony of lack, fortifies the body and locks the soul. But the body rebels keeping its memory alive and speaking loudly of its stories. It shares smiles, slyly winks at the unexpected and dances its maturity.

Women 65+ of the “Syn-Kinisi” contemporary dance company, work throughout the year with perseverance and pleasure, researching, improvising, experimenting, and proving that physicality has no stereotypes, no age, only a deep desire for life.
