Two of Greece's most celebrated voices join forces with a remarkable orchestra at "Nikos Kazantzakis" Open-air Theatre. Dimitra Galani and Eleni Tsaligopoulou sing alongside the historic orchestra Estoudiantina of Nea Ionia, Volos, under the baton of Andreas Katsigiannis and with the participation of Vassilis Prodromou, bringing together Greek folk music, tradition, and contemporary expression. The concert promises an evening filled with warmth, emotion, and beloved songs. Dimitra Galani, with a long and influential career as a performer and creator and a favourite of the most distinguished Greek folk music composers, joins forces with Eleni Tsaligopoulou, a performer whose voice has become synonymous with Greek tradition, Smyrna songs (Smyrneika), and the musical heritage of Asia Minor. Together, they propose a musical journey through the Greek repertoire, in which timeless classics meet with contemporary musical expressions. Vassilis Prodromou will be also joining them on stage; Vassilis Prodromou is a singer, songwriter, and musician of the younger generation, whose distinctive artistic presence adds a fresh touch to the concert.

A key element of the concert is the participation of the orchestra Estoudiantina of Nea Ionia, Volos under the baton of Andreas Katsigiannis. The Estoudiantina of Nea Ionia, Volos is widely recognized for its contribution to the revival and evolution of Greece's urban, folk, and Asia Minor musical heritage. These two magnificent soloists and the artistic supervision of Andreas Katsigiannis, create a musical atmosphere in which voices and songs acquire new life. Also on stage, two outstanding musicians, Spyros Chatzikonstantinou and Serafeim Giannakopoulos, each contributing their own unique artistic signature to this special musical evening.
