With more than 40 events of music, dance, theatre, cinema, literature, history, stargazing, photography exhibitions, lectures, artistic performances, workshops, and music shows focusing on percussion - and in even more locations along the Walls that invite us to discover them - the 2nd Festival of the Walls - Candia Walls Festival of the Municipality of Heraklion arrives, from Saturday, August 30 to Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

Useful information for the 2nd Festival of the Walls - Candia Walls Festival

Admission - Tickets:

• Free admission vouchers and tickets are available via ticketservices.gr, two days before each scheduled performance, at 12:00 noon, until sold out.
• A limited number of tickets and free admission vouchers will be available at the box office of the "Nikos Kazantzakis" Open-Air Theatre for residents who cannot issue them electronically. Distribution at the box office also begins two days before each scheduled performance and continues until sold out.
• Ticket prices: €5 (regular), €2.5 (reduced: pupils, students, large families, unemployed, persons with disabilities, over 65, children up to 6 years old).
• General admission to the Summer Cinema "Bethlehem" €4 (see screenings here)
• Ticket prices do not include electronic ticketing service fees.
• Each spectator/user may obtain up to two (2) tickets or free admission vouchers.
• For events where no voucher or ticket is required, admission is free.

Audience support:

• Arrival time: 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the performance.
• For entry to performances, it is necessary to show a printed or electronic ticket (where required) as well as proof of eligibility for any discount.
• It is not permitted to reserve seats for spectators not already inside the Garden Theatres, nor to enter after the start of the performance.
• The Garden Theatre staff are available to assist you with anything you may need.
