About Paros Park

Through a wide range of cultural, educational and environmental initiatives, Paros Park seeks to offer meaningful experiences and opportunities throughout the year for both the local community and visitors to the island. Founded in 2009 as a municipal enterprise, the Park was created to promote a different vision for culture and sustainable tourism in the Aegean. A pioneer of its kind in the Cyclades, the Paros Environmental & Cultural Park extends across an 800,000-square-metre peninsula and operates to protect and showcase the unique landscape of Ai-Yiannis Detis. Every summer, it hosts Festival at the Park under the artistic direction of Themistocles Karpodinis.
