UTOPIA
Human as Utopia
In 1516 Thomas More creates a non-place where people are happy and complete. The word “utopia” will be associated with perfection — the non-place will become the perfect place. The non-existent is now synonymous with the ideal.
Through repetitive dance patterns from classic musicals and pop music videos, mirrors and reflections three performers create their personal Utopia, a new, shared, perfect world. The scene will be completed by the invasion of the outside world — a world thirsty to inhabit Utopia.
