The summer continues with exciting live shows in the Parklife concert series, which brings music to the Panoramic Steps of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center

On Thursday, July 29, at 21:00, Sophie Lies and Danai Nielsen, two representatives of the new generation of singers, ascend to the Panoramic Steps to present songs old and new, drawing the audience into a mood for experimentation and communication. Shortly after the release of "Recycled Feelings (club remix)", Danai Nielsen brings her dream pop vision to the stage, creating musical dialogues between her female and male alter egos. At the same time, Sophie Lies meanders into maturity with sweet melodies, simple orchestrations and a versatile sound, and the support of her three-piece band. As part of its Parklife concert series, the SNFCC sends out its own message of optimism and hope, in keeping with all necessary measures of safety.

Heading the Sophie Lies ensemble, Sophie was born in Athens and grew up in Perama. After graduating from the School if Philosophy, she moved to the center of Athens and began putting together some of the Greek songs she had written as a student. In October 2020, she released her first online, independent solo album entitled Mia Petra San Spiti, with the track "Megala Paidia" as its breakout song.

Greek-Danish Danai Nielsen began her career as a member of the rock band Nosebleed. She went solo in 2019, composing and performing songs that wander down the paths of dream pop through samples, loops and organic sounds. She has since made appearances in festivals in Athens, Belgium and Hamburg, receiving praise for both her music and her conceptual stage presence.

At the SNFCC's Panoramic Steps, the worlds of electronic, folk and pop music come together in a colorful puzzle full of images under the Attic sky.

The opportunity to attend the concert, in compliance with all necessary measures of safety in accordance with the Hellenic National Public Health Organization, will be given to a limited number of viewers, through advance booking online.
