The 7th summer edition of the Chios Music Festival will be held from 1-13 August in Chios and Oinousses, in venues and natural sites that highlight the intangible and historical cultural heritage of the island. This yearΆs edition includes a varied program with original productions, invited international artists and the participation of iconic musicians.  

Alkinoos Ioannidis, accompanied by his historic group, will perform in the most touching way at the closing of the Chios Music Festival on 13 August, “Mikis Theodorakis” Theatre at Kastrominas area. Two decades after their first joint appearances and the live recording at the Lycabettus Theatre, the great musicians Stavros Lantsias (keyboards), Miltiadis Papastamou (electric violin), Giotis Kiourtsoglou (electric bass) and Michael Kapilidis (drums) meet again on stage for an electrical feast of favourite songs, unexpected covers and that ever-living reassertion of the relationship between the musicians and the audience that occurs at every performance of the beloved songwriter. A precious exchange of souls that we can all benefit from.
