To Parallel Quintet ιδρύθηκε το 2015 στη Θεσσαλονίκη από τους Γιάννη Παυλίδη στην ηλεκτρική κιθάρα, Ευθύμη Τσακίρη στο άλτο σαξόφωνο, Λέανδρο Πασιά στο πιάνο, Αγαμέμνονα Μάρδα στο κοντραμπάσο και Γιώργο Κλούντζο-Χρυσίδη στα τύμπανα. Ο ήχος του Quintet κινείται σε modern jazz και ethnic αρμονίες και έχει εμφανείς επιρροές από τους Avishai Cohen Trio, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Aaron Parks, Dave Holland και Chris Potter.
Το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει συνθέσεις από τους δύο προσωπικούς δίσκους του παγκοσμίου φήμης κιθαρίστα Γιάννη Παυλίδη, Forever Lost και Μigration, συνθέσεις από τον προσωπικό δίσκο του Λέανδρου Πασιά, ItΆs Time to Go, καθώς και νέα κομμάτια τους.
