Arsenali Tango Marathon 2024

Welcome to the Arsenali Tango Marathon, hosted by Tangueria Art School! We're thrilled to extend an invitation to all tango lovers.

Chania, a city with fantastic food and incredibly friendly locals, is our chosen destination. It's a place where delicious cuisine, warm hospitality, and the beats of tango unite to craft an enchanting experience.

Our noble purpose? To ensure you have an unforgettable time! Let's come together, make new friends, dance to fantastic tunes curated by our expert TDJs, and simply live the moment!

Event Details:

• Dates: Friday, April 19th - Sunday, April 21st
• Venue: Grand Arsinali - Center of Mediterranean Architecture, nestled in the heart of the Old Town, with the sea just a breath away.

Highlights:

• Engage in the intimate warm-up milonga on Thursday evening (April 18th) at Nafsithea All Day Coffee and Wine Bar.
• Explore the wonderful beaches, try the delights of famous Cretan taverns, and walk through the narrow streets of the old town of Chania.

This marathon promises to leave an indelible imprint on your memory in every way. Get ready for a tango-filled weekend of joy, connection, and exploration!

Participant Details:

• The event is limited to 220 participants.
• We aim for a balanced participation: 50% leaders and 50% followers.
• To maintain a delightful dancing atmosphere, a minimum of 3 years of dancing experience is a polite requirement.

Photography & Media:

• Professional photographers will be present throughout the Marathon.
• By attending this event, you fully agree and grant permission for organizers to capture photos and videos of you. These may be used later for promotional purposes. Your consent contributes to the vibrant memory of our tango community.
