MICHEL LEGRAND - GEORGE PERIS

Because of the bad and dangerous weather conditions that are excepted for tonight, the concert of Michel Legrand with George Perris and the Contemporary Music Orchestra of ERT which was scheduled for Friday September 28, 2018 at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, is canceled.

The great French composer and the Greek Singer will meet again with the audience at another venue on a date that will be announced soon.

Regarding the ticket refunds please note the following:

• All ticket refunds will start on Wednesday October 3, 2018 and will last until Friday, October 19.
• Tickets purchased online (www.ticketservices.gr & tickets.public.gr) will be canceled automatically, and the amounts will be refunded back to the credit cards used, without the need of any action by the card-holders.
• Tickets purchased at the Public stores and at the Ticket Services box office can be returned at the Ticket Services box office (39 Panepistimiou Str, Pesmazoglou Arc, Athens) - from October 3 until October 19.
• Tickets purchased at the Public stores of Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Patras, Corinthos, Chania, Drama, Rethymno can be refunded by calling at Ticket Services call center.

Λόγω των δυσμενών και επικίνδυνων καιρικών συνθηκών που ανακοίνωσε η Εθνική Μετεωρολογική Υπηρεσία η προγραμματισμένη συναυλία του Michel Legrand με τον Γιώργο Περρή και την Ορχήστρα Σύγχρονης Μουσικής της ΕΡΤ της Παρασκευής 28 Σεπτεμβρίου στο Ηρώδειο ακυρώνεται.

Ο σπουδαίος Γάλλος μουσικοσυνθέτης και ο Έλληνας τραγουδιστής ανανεώνουν το ραντεβού τους με το κοινό σε άλλο χώρο και ημερομηνία
που θα ανακοινωθεί σύντομα.

• Οι επιστροφές των χρημάτων θα αρχίσουν από την Τετάρτη 3 Οκτωβρίου και θα διαρκέσουν ως την Παρασκευή 19 Οκτωβρίου.
• Οι αγορές που έχουν γίνει ηλεκτρονικά (www.ticketservices.gr & tickets.public.gr) θα ακυρωθούν αυτόματα και η επιστροφή στην κάρτα θα γίνει χωρίς να χρειάζεται κάποια ενέργεια από τους αγοραστές
• Εισιτήρια που έχουν αγοραστεί από τα καταστήματα Public και από το εκδοτήριο της Ticket Services, επιστρέφονται στο κατάστημα της Ticket Services (Πανεπιστημίου 39, εντός της στοάς Πεσμαζόγλου) από τις 3 ως τις 19 Οκτωβρίου 2018
  
• Για εισιτήρια που αγοράστηκαν στα καταστήματα Public εκτός Αθηνών (ΘΕΣ/ΝΙΚΗ, ΙΩΑΝΝΙΝΑ, ΠΑΤΡΑ, ΚΟΡΙΝΘΟΣ, ΧΑΝΙΑ, ΔΡΑΜΑ, ΡΕΘΥΜΝΟ) παρακαλούμε επικοινωνήστε με την Ticket Services για να διευθετηθεί η επιστροφή.

With the ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra

Michel Legrand: legendary composer, imaginative arranger, major jazz pianist. The award-winning, hugely influential composer has performed numerous time at the greatest venues in the world and has left his mark on the world scene. In over 65 years of music career, he has scored films such as The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, The Thomas Crown Affair and Yentl. His songs have been performed by the worldΆs leading singers, including Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, Shirley Bassey, Jessye Norman, Ray Charles, and Nana Mouskouri.

For this performance, Legrand has chosen George Perris, one of the most talented voices of his generation, renowned for his fluency in many languages and his wonderful performances.

Legrand will conduct the ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra in this spellbinding concert combining LegrandΆs most beloved, famous songs and his favorite orchestral themes for cinema:

Round like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning on an ever-spinning reel
Like a snowball down a mountain, or a carnival balloon
Like a carousel that's turning running rings around the moon
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping past the minutes on its face
And the world is like an apple whirling silently in space

An amount of 2 euros will be added to the price of tickets, which will go to the “Oloi mazi boroume” charity.
